Hi! I am TAN Yee Fan, also known in some circles as unkx80.

Introduction

I am a Singaporean.

I presently work for NCS as a software engineer, as part of a team delivering video intelligence solutions mainly for the government sector. My previous employers include KAI Square (which became part of NCS) and SeSaMe Research Centre (part of Interactive and Digital Media Institute, National University of Singapore).

I have a Ph.D. from the School of Computing, National University of Singapore.

Site Overview

A large portion of this site is devoted to the game of Weiqi, also known as Go. Among which, there is a self-constructed life-and-death problem in which a group cannot live despite capturing a 18-stone chain.
