Hi! I am TAN Yee Fan, also known in some circles as unkx80.

Introduction

I am a Singaporean.

I presently work for NCS. My previous employments were for KAI Square, SeSaMe Research Centre (part of Interactive and Digital Media Institute, National University of Singapore), and KAI Square. In all my employments, I mainly play the role of a software engineer, mostly doing systems architecture and development work, and occasionally dealing with data analytics.

I have a Ph.D. from the School of Computing, National University of Singapore. More information regarding my academic research work can be found at my academic homepage.

Site Overview

A large portion of this site is devoted to the game of Weiqi, also known as Go. Among which, there is a self-constructed life-and-death problem in which a group cannot live despite capturing a 18-stone chain.
